TeamViz

TeamViz is the most popular Pomodoro Timer & GTD Integrated Software. With Pomodoro Technique, you can choose a task to be accomplished, set the Pomodoro timer to 25 minutes and work on the task until the Pomodoro rings, then take a short break. Track your accomplishment day by day and improve your productivity.

TeamViz helps you plan your tasks and tracking your time using the Pomodoro Technique. Give the advantages of Pomodoro including focused work, frequent breaks to refresh, less distractions, etc without having an extra workflow. Gather raw data on the effort expended and other metrics of interest. Track all the completed pomodoros, discarded pomodoros, log unplanned, urgency and interruptions. View the records of applying the Pomodoro Technique, and learn to measure yourself, observe how you work, and develop the value of continuity.

Allow users to pause the timer, not only stop it.

Right now you can only stop the timer, which in turn would start over when you hit the play button. If there's an interruption it would be nice to pause the timer (and interpret the time it's paused as an interruption for example) and then spend...

Allow users to customize timer sounds.

Currently both the timer end sound and the "ticking" sound are fixed and can't be changed, another thing to improve would be to allow users to set their own timing sounds (or offer a few to select from).

(1) Improve the appearance of the main program screen. The widget could also look a little slicker. Add some skins. (2) Allow me to assign how many hours, or Pomodoro sessions, I want to assign daily to each task. (3) If I assign multiple sessions t

Otherwise, very useful program, for those of us who like the pomodoro technique

Allow users to set the timer duration when you trigger the task.

As of now you have to set the Pomodoro duration time in program settings, it would be more useful to allow setting it for each task. Letting the one set in settings be the default one, but allowing to change it for each task when starting it, for...

More flexibility in terms of time frames. Also, custom rings, themes and a 4-6 page intro would be welcome. Hmmm... why internet login for such a tool, BTW...?

Have a simpler interface besides the current one.

Concretely, somebody may just want to have a list of tasks planned for today and that's it. If such a person disables the "task" panel and the "unplanned" one he/she won't be able to add tasks. I think it would be nice to have an option to...

Allow to main program window to be reduced to the Taskbar.

In addition, don't just show the widget when the main program window is closed. Show it, even when the mouse is moved away from the main program, to work on a different open window.

If I assign multiple sessions to a single task, show which session I am on in the widget.

This is a continuation of my previous suggestion: Allow me to assign how many hours, or Pomodoro sessions, I want to assign daily to each task. 3.

Allow to change ticking sound intervals and strength.

Right now the "ticking" sound is crazy (in my opinion), when I first enabled that feature I thought it would tick every minute, or 10 seconds, or even every second and that it would be a "light" sound. As it is right now it reflects the kitchen...

Add items in the 'Unplanned Tasks' box by right-clicking on the widget.

Furthermore, allow the option of going to work on that unplanned taskimmediately, or merely recording the idea, to work on later. Sometimes, it helps just to get an idea down, without having to interrupt one's work schedule. (See "Thinking Rock"...

Sync with Google Tasks

Sync, perhaps, to the default folder. Then let me drag and drop the projects that I want to work for the day.

Remove the words 'Minutes' and 'Seconds' in the widget.

That's obvious to anyone who ever used the Pomodoro system. Instead, show the name of the task at hand at the bottom of the timer widget.

Allow for different types of timer widgets.

Such as a slide-down timer which turns red as time runs out (like “Focus Booster” uses), or an analogue clock timer. This is particularly important, as the second counter on the digital timer widget is very distracting.

Make a web-based program with a Google Chrome app

That way, it could be truly portable.

Add a Time-sheet option, that tells me how much I am making per job

Perhaps you can even display this information on the widget: "You've made $$ for the last hour of work" or something like that. Or put it on the main program screen, in the "Daily Work Projects" record box. This would be great for motivation! (See...

Nothing happens when I click on the widget button 'Add an Interruption.'

The clock keeps ticking. It's not clear what is supposed to happen.

After completing a task, move it to the bottom of the 'Daily Work Projects' list, and move the second prioritized task up.

At least make it an option

Keep the timer widget open to the same location on the desktop that it was when I closed it.

It now moves somewhere to the middle of the screen
